  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) Brickset just posted a photo of this set. I think its agreat step forward considering all the gender discussions that have occurred on Lugnet. And the minifigs look great. (URL) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.trains, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Well, I guess that is the answer I was looking for. You seem well versed on the availability of these items, so I guess I'm out of luck. I didn't realize that LUGNET had them rendered in all those colours. Anyways, just for the record this is (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) but sadly nothing I know of has come out recently with that piece in it. I think the best source of them was 6085 (Black Monarch's Castle) which had something like 12 of them! (...)   Re: Forest of Blood Chapter 3

(...) Ah... but to borrow a quote from "The Mummy" -- Death is only the beginning... These three chapters were written for two reasons - to introduce these four characters, and to serve as the preface to the 'real' stories to come. Admittedly there (...)   Re: German Castles?

(...) While not specifically German castles, there ARE a whole plethora of castles, based on mnay different European castles, on Bob Carney's site. (URL) Check it out for some truly awe inspiring work. (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

With the slow trickle of Bulk Items, I wouldn't mind if Lego Direct came out with "parts pack" type bulk items where (for example) you had all 3 types of steep sloped bricks (1x2x3, 2x2x3, 2x2x3 corner) in a specific color set, or say inside/outside (...)   Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Oh, sorry shoulda said specifically just in light grey... that's actually where I got 4/5 of the ones I listed. Very handy, BTW... (now it just needs MySQL'd! -- someday maybe you can feed it a set list and find out how many of a particular (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) yes, it would... Once the base database is larger, I could interface it with the public set lists from lugnet (why keep the data twice?), and you'd be able to type in your member number, and total up your pieces... or even do a limited search, (...)   Re: new stuff for 2001

now... It is obvious that if this person were not to know he couldn't post things like this, he must be new right? If he's new, why would TLC show him new sets? Josh (just thought this might help) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.trains, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) I've resisted buying the Droid Escape set because of the stupid printing on the curvy walls - or are you saying those are decals? --Bill. (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Not decals, no. But some Brasso and a cloth will take the paint off. Joel J (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?
