It looks to me like the roof would leak ;) Nice picture Brad. Build On! John Matthews Brad Hamilton <bhamilto1@home.com> wrote in message news:G2LM12.5Fs@lugnet.com... (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch)

  Received Shop@Home chrome sets today

I came home today and found 8 chrome sets that I had ordered from Shop@Home waiting for me. The only disappointment is the Dragon Rider (#4818) -- I wish it had more pieces as dragons are a little too common around here. :) (As an aside, is anyone (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  New Software

I just saw a commerceal on TV for this new Lego Creator Castle software. Apparently, it allows you to create a castle and a kingdom, and fight the opponents (Bulls). It had some pretty interesting stuff, such as siege weapons in action, jousting (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Water Temple MOC

Hi Travis, I did actually download and try out your new version of LDVIEW. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work well with my computer. I have a voodoo 2 3d card and a 450MHZ computer. It selects software rendering instead of the hardware (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Water Temple MOC

Yep - Unfortunately, the rendering program left a pretty big gap between those roof pieces. Well, it IS a water temple, so a little extra water from above should help to improve the religious feeling right? Brad John Matthews (...) (...) My six (4816x2, 4817x2, and 4818x2) all came today as well. No time to open them, but I certainly will have fun when I do. When S@H stocks 4819, I shall order more! Yes, we have no baby T-Rex. We have no baby T-Rex today. Aaron :o) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Pictures on Brickshelf of a Medival Fortified town

Christina is a member of Wamalug and Lugnet (#226) and one of my buddies =). She brought most of the castle sets people saw at Brickfest earlier this year, but that hardly scratches the surface, she's just about Castle complete... a really hefty (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) So, are you a Harry Chapin fan, a costermonger, or a fan of Silver & Conn? Just curious -- these banana references seem to be popping up in my life a lot this past month. :) Chris (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  is anyone accually castle complete?

Is there anyone here who can say that they have all of the castle sets ever made? Is there anyone close and what are they missing? (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: is anyone accually castle complete?

(...) I gave up trying to be complete after 6009 (and primarily because I couldn't score a Guarded Inn for under $150) Since the quality Castle of sets diminished markedly...I turned towards Pirates, Town, and Space after college in 1992 (some of (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: is anyone accually castle complete?

  Re: Water Temple MOC

(...) I like how that roof looks. When I first saw the 2x4x2 3 lobed top piece which goes with the 2x3 rounded pieces, I immediately thought about a roof treatment. Used as the edge of a roof, it is very remeniscent of European roof lines. (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Received Shop@Home chrome sets today

I got mine today too. They are all pretty great. But the "Knight's Catapult" looks a bit bad when you look at it sideways. Otherwise the sets are awesome. I hope 4819 (Rebel's Chariot) would be available soon. In my opinion, it is the best of the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)
