Re: [MOC] Royal Quarters for my WIP castle

Great job, Mike! Now I'm wondering; do the soldiers sleep on the floor? Sleeping bags and all? <grin, duck, run> Serously tho', really nice. I love the exterior design, the turrets are cool. Can't be long with compliments (gotta go) but you have (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Favorite castles?

Now here's something to ponder... What's your favorite castle set made by TLC (no MOCs Please :-)? And please explain *why*. I'm really interested. I don't have enough castle sets to judge, and I want to know what everyone thinks. I'd really rather (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Favorite castles?

(...) It would have to be 6085. The Black Monarch's Castle was the first castle i received as a kid. The sentimental value alone makes it my favorite. But on top of that i realy like the design, it has a nice selection of figs, and the Black (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Favorite castles?

  Re: Favorite castles?

(...) I'd have to say 6086, because of the design, very good, and some of the elements, the yellow tudor wall pieces among others. My biggest complaint about all of the Castle sets is that they are all facades, very good exteriors with nothing on (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: [MOC] Royal Quarters for my WIP castle

(...) Nicely done. I really liked the way you integrated the lion head elements. The variety of architecture works very well too - different window styles, rooflines/colors, etc, all contribute to a very "real" feel to it. (...) "build it all and (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)
