MOC version of the Yellow Castle —David Carriker
I recreated the Yellow Castle in Grey and Black, and took some pics with my digital camera (not very good quality). The I redid the first version, by replacing many of the standard bricks out of the wall with current grey castle wall pieces. I think (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC version of the Yellow Castle —Marcelo H. Sola
(...) It certainly looks much better in gray. I happen to have the yellow castle, and am planning to do exactly the same. My problem is I lack black extreme slope corners -for now. By the way, the second iteration looks fine (even better than the (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC version of the Yellow Castle —Jeff Johnston
(...) I ws pondering this (having just scored some Oasis Ambush sets at Wally World clearance), but I really couldn't think of any good reason for the entire castle to be blue. (I'd have to look into my supply of blue arches as well.) J (25 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) grays) Oh yeah, lots. I've got yellow, red, brown, blue... nothing else I recall off-hand, and darn few of them, but they exist. One thing you might try (it works very well with the 1x2x2 arched windows) is "framing" the window in a different (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC version of the Yellow Castle —Jeff Johnston
(...) Just had a look, and I do not seem to have any blue arches. They ought to exist, though - I could swear I used to have some, maybe in an old Classic Space set or something.
