Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

(...) Well, it's not that fragile. And Bill, now that you don't work for LEGO any more, you know you're not allowed to use glue, right? :) Derek (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

You're right, it is cute. I like that design. I probably won't steal it though, the smoke is a little dense for me. Hurts my lungs to try to breathe that in. That mini-figure is going to need a trip to the healer, or the apothocary at the very (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: COLTC Marcon show report

(...) This was unfortunately thrown together, we did not have time to make it look more like a village (we agreed to do the show 6 days prior to the show).   Re: COLTC Marcon show report

(...) Nice looking layout. I'm obviously a fan of the medieval section in particular. About the burning house, two questions. Why are the birds hanging out on the still flaming house and what's with the guy in the dress? I'm not sure why, but I (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  COLTC Marcon show report

About 10 days ago, COLTC displayed at Marcon 38. Despite the small layout, we managed to show quite a bit of new stuff. Another skyscraper (One Nationwide): (URL) a space Area: (URL) a Medieval Village: (URL) and a small town section under attack of (...)   Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

(...) Cute, I wish I could think of cute like that. Why can I see this popiing up on Train and town layouts all over the place.:) All it needs is some gauking onlookers standing around, getting in the way Aaron A who is now reconsidering what to do (...)   Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

(...) I like it, especially the smoke!! Last week I made a similar CCC house on fire: (URL) made a small fire "engine" with people pumping water (yes, a blue flame for water...). We displayed it at Marcon (show report will follow soon). Next time I (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

(...) Probably, especially since it will fit in my motorcycle saddlebag. I wish I could have made it to the last meeting--but sooner or later, I'll make it down to another one. Derek (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

(...) Thank you--although I think the blue flame was used as water in a Jack Stone kit, so it wasn't really a stretch for me to use it like that. I am quite happy with the smoke though. (...)   Re: The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (A CCC building)

(...) This is great! Like others have said, the smoke and the bucket of water are both awesome, as are some of the shapes you made from the flame pieces. You gotta bring that to brickfest, and see if the fire spreads ;) -Dan Rubin (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Smoke is nicely done, plus the bucket of water being trown at the fire is really cute. The whole thing deserves to be seen! Maybe a couple more people working with the little fellow would be even better. Terry (20 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  New Knight's Kingdom Prices

I hope I'm not the only one that is slightly disappointed with the new Knights Kingdom. Mostly it's because of the continuing trend by LEGO to make it nearly impossible to buy large quantities of minifigs. They did a nice job last time around by (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)
