The story seems intriguing, mysterious. The characters and the dialog seem
natural and the events ask many questions which i assume will be answered in
time. Your cut off leaves me interested, not quite the whole event so you
better finish the next part soon.
AS far as tense, past or present doesn't really matter as long as it remains
consistent (except of course in dialog or flashback. I think that the tense
is best represented in the intended attitude. Past is obviously something
that already happened, as if someone is telling the story. Present gives a
more immediate feeling as if it is not a story but a narration of what is
happening. So which ever feeling suits your story then it is good, just
make sure it remains the same throughout otherwise it becomes confusing.
Writing aside, the pictures seemed very grainy though, I guess you aren't
using the most fantastic camera but my experiences have taught me few tricks
to compensate (i have some cheap $60 digital camera). First, experiment
with different programs, i found that different software gives me higher
quality. Use natural daylight for good color balance, and try taking the
picture from further away and using photoshop to enlarge it with minimal
quality loss.
I really enjoyed your story though, pictures abound and plot is interesting.
I can't wait to see you use your neat custom figs too!

| I used a webcam to take the pix, its the only thing I had at the moment I'm not sure if I'll get any better quality pix, because my digital cam eats thru batteries, and the stupid wall adapter is broken on it, so if I dont use the webcam I'm (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)
