It is indeed sad to see anyone leave the lugnet community for any reason, but
for reasons such as this are particularly so. Sometimes life must take
precedence over fun and frolic. You've always been a great fan of mine, and
usually one of the first three to reply to anything I did. It'll seem a little
less lively around here without you Daniel.
No man, no one for that matter, is an island. The Lugnet community exists not
because of one individual (granted there are those who started it), but because
there is a huge group of people who share something in common. But we have
become more than just a conglomeration of disembodied individuals as in other
internet communities, but rather we've become something bigger, something
grander. I would dare say we are a family in the loosest sense of the word.
We fight, we argue, it's all normal behavior. And when we lose someone, we all
feel lessened by their absence.
For whatever reason it is you're leaving us, if it's something you haven't
mentioned, I'm sure it's important. Life is like that sometimes, you must make
sacrifices to go forward. But just remember that nothing worth doing is easy.
When you get these hard things finished, and you can once again find the time
to rejoin us, we'll be here waiting for you, however long it takes.
