Re: I doubt anybody is interested but...

(...) Holy cripes, that's big. I can't wait to see it finished out in the middle, with a keep, and barracks, and all that good stuff. Awesome! -Chris (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

<putting this back in .castle, as it no longer pertains to .dear-lego> (...) I agree that the HP buildings aren't so much buildings and skeletal dioramas. (...) Well, instructions are out of the question; I'm way too lazy to MLCAD this whole thing. (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: I doubt anybody is interested but...

(...) Alrighty, I guess somebody does care! :) Work on the Hall of the Dragon is underway. And yes, that is the Great Hall. :) Thanks for responding! -- Mark Nelson (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Small Medieval City Building

Hello everyone... I have put a couple of simple renders of a small medieval house that I built a few weeks ago. It is the front half of a two story wattle and daub, timbered type structure (I can't remember what the type of building is really called (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Simple yet elegant. Great designs! The Bird looks as big as a condor though... BTW, you might want to reduce the image size before posting images like that in the future, you're screwing folks with 600x800 screens from seeing the buildings all (...)   Re: Small Medieval City Building

Andy, those are great. A small scale, that would be perfect for a middle village sprawled around a large keep. I really like the use of the 1x2 tile with one stud, for the columns between the windows. -Jason +---...---+ (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) cool. The tree it's self is neat too. You certainly did a good job with all that clutter. I am reminded of Merlin's shack from Disney's "Sword in the Stone". Very neat. -Jason +---...---+ Jason Spears (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) street and at this scale and number of pieces, you can populate quite a street with it. I usually build in such large scale that I tend not to have a lot of buildings. But I am working my way towards finding inspiration for an Euro castle and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wizard's Tower

Chris, Really like this one a lot. Lots of great details. Love the crenellations on the roof, I've never seen that design before, and it really looks great. I'm always fond of realistic looking trees too. :-) Nice use of that baseplate... I have a (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) Thanks Jason. The Sword in the Stone was definitely an influence on this one; I thought of what Merlin's hut would be like on a much grander scale. -Chris (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wizard's Tower

(...) Thanks for the comments. Like I said earlier, I was trying to do something a little different. And I'm really glad everyone likes my trees; it seems the only person who isn't satisfied with them is me. :-) (...) YES, they are, but if you can (...)   Re: Small Medieval City Building

Andy, these are great. I've been looking for awhile now for a way to do a large number of buildings with a small number of bricks, and it looks like you've nailed it with these facades. I can just see our hero and his sidekick, striding down the (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) Even though you've told me about this tower last week, this is so much better than I thought! Every picture in that folder is worth a thousand words. First off, the tree and the general exterior are very aesthetically pleasing. The battlements (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

I normally stay pretty quiet, but I had to say something about your cool tower. (...) The photos turned out pretty good.   Prepare for battle! Where are your armies?

Hey, Castleheads! Now, in times where you can siege and maybe win a MISB (!) 6086, where are your armies? I'm wondering why there are no Castle entries for the ISCC ((URL) until now. Are your soldiers sleeping or playing cards all day long? I would (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Question on IOM Mist

Hi Mark! (...) Welp, basically any kind of machine would not function inside the Mist. wow! chris that rules! Rare it is for me (a space-mechy-WWII-plane-tank head) to be inspired so by a castle creation, but this is awesome, There is so much detail all over!
