  Re: Medieval/Castle themed Market.

<snip> (...) Don't worry I am still into Castle at the moment I just wanted to do something other than the Market for a little while. I am thinking of doing some residential homes or something like that. I have not built up the courage to try and (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Mid-evil/Castle themed Market.

(...) Thanks, In one way this has been an interesting challenge for me because the only Castle set I currently own is 6097 Knight Lord's Castle. I have been forced to use what I have from the rest of my collection that includes a lot of Star Wars, (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 2000 castle sucks

(...) After building the castle last night, I have to say I kind of like it. It definitely needs work, but it is a good starting point. The new door arch is juniorized, but I suspect we will all manage to make good use of it. It doesn't look bad, it (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Black feathers

(...) Hi John, From Margo's castle-and-pirate inventories, I see that black feathers appeared in 1974, 6035, 6066, and 6073, one set in each. They are the rarest colour, I believe. I'm fond of 6035 as well - a perfect set to use on each side of the (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The War of yellowcastle Storyboard

(...) Better yet, if you play with colors, ALWAYS make sure you either set the background and foreground colors, or have a wallpaper and set the foreground color. I have seen too many pages which set a text color, which happened to be the same as my (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

  Re: 2000 castle sucks

(...) Thank you for this post. It did my heart good to hear the good things about the new castle. -- jthompson@esker.com "Float on a river, forever and ever, Emily" (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  inventories, was Re: Black feathers

Thanks Heather, I had not thought to consult Margo's inventories, which I downloaded long ago, but always forget to utilize. When I downloaded the inventories, I thought they could be more useful in a database or spreadsheet form, where I could (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: inventories, was Re: Black feathers

Yes, I made a spreadsheet for myself with all the elements in it - just concatenated Margo's text files, stripped the headers, and then sorted by piece type and colour. I use Excel, which makes it easy to do filters and sorts without fooling around (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 2000 castle sucks

(...) I think those narrow arched windows are supposed to be arrow slit, though not crosslet. In the original castle these were just 1 brick wide holes in the castle wall, but were clearly arrow slits. When Lego made the wall piece and put an arc (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Mid-evil/Castle themed Market.

(...) Your market looks really nice. Considering the fact that you only have 6097, I am even more amazed! I love the grocery store with the brown crates, tilted at an angle, filled with oranges and apples (if that's what those 1x1s are). Looks very (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Mid-evil/Castle themed Market.

(...) I have also been working on a market for my imperial town. This is more pirate related, but is very similar. The pics are at: (URL) imperial town has a market, a little like the other one someone posted a picture of, with jewelry, bakery, wine (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Mid-evil/Castle themed Market.

Timbo wrote... (...) Very neat details and a very lovely layout. As always we want more. =) How about some real close up photos of the really neat details, like the close up on the imperial probe droid. I would of liked a photo on those Jawas and a (...)   Re: A new castle babe!!! (and a weird knight)

I don´t like her torso print. It´s too... well, you probably know what I mean. and lego babes shouldn´t look like that. In Paradisa, none of the girl minifigs looked like that. --Tobias (...) 2000 (...) work (...) to (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new castle babe!!! (and a weird knight)

(...) Too true. And in the interest of equality, why don't they make printed muscle-bound males to go with these ambitiously-drawn female figures? How are we supposed to make hulking barbarians? Is this some sort of TLG bias? All in fun, Dave! (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  6023 box question

Has anyone noticed that there are two different European boxes for 6023 Maiden's Cart? You can see the variation in the scan I sent to KL.net... (URL) box is the same size as 6016, 6018 boxes, and the other is like a version of a 6035 box I have. (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Availability of new castle?

Is there any rhyme or reason to the availability of the new castle, or is it more or less random, based on orders and distributors and such? I've seen the posts of people who have come across them in the last few days but no where hereabouts seems (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)
