  Re: Witch's Abode

(...) Issac, thanks for your comments. The interior was tricky, with my limited selection of purple bricks. You may have noticed the large amount of 1x1s in the walls. In the (URL) last picture> Here's the story, I was playing around the with (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: KKII vs. Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

(...) I'm not sure that 'Visionaries' could be described as a wholly original and groundbreaking creation either though... Jason R (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Witch's Abode

(...) That's great, I can just see Nanny Ogg and her evil cat Greebo lounging inside, broomstick shoved over the fireplace... I particularly like the asymmetrical roof slope, lends a nice crooked air to the building. And although purple is not (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Witch's Abode

Hi Jason, This looks great. I saw it on brickshelf this morning before I read this post, and was thinking to myself what a cute little house. Both the stoneworks and the color purple suit the theme of a witch well, and the interior settings (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Witch's Abode

If the town witch lived in town, and not in some hovel outside of town in the haunted forest, what would her house look like? It might look like this: (2 URLs) Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> | (URL) CLB> (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle, lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.org.us.clb, FTX) !

Re: KKII vs. Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

(...) I used to watch the show and had a few of the toys, so back when the first image of the new Knight's Kingdom minifig sets came out ((URL) the big one that that showed them all>), the first thought that popped into my head was that they looked (...)   Re: KKII vs. Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

(...) There has been some very recent discussion of the fact that Brickshelf will no longer host composite (i.e. partially non-LEGO) "title" images unless they are entered into the Avatar category (which doesn't show up in the recent additions (...) (20 years ago, 6-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: KKII vs. Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

(...) They do look alike, but I don't see any way to explain the resemblance elseway than coincidence. I mean, wolf, lion, eagle, bear, these are all "proud" animals that are often used as symbols for human qualities, much like in these 2 cases. I'd (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Sorry to replay to myself but I guess I have too for some reason the BS library was deleted so I'll give you stright links to the pictures: Figures: (6 URLs) Symbols: (3 URLs) on the same time I'll give you the link for their website as well: (...)   KKII vs. Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

I hope this won't make too much noise. Just a few thoughts I had... In 1987 there was a cartoon series on TV - knowen as 'Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light'. The series wasn't that a big succsess and only survived one season and I'm not sure (...) (20 years ago, 6-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX) !

  Re: Inquisition MOC: Crusader hardsuit

(...) Very cool. I'm cross-posting to castle because, while this is technically a mecha, it looks great just as an armored knight. How tall is he standing next to a normal minifig? Bruce (20 years ago, 6-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: A slice of tudor

(...) No interior work?!? Then I change my opinion on it and now I hate it. ;) -- Pawel (20 years ago, 6-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: A slice of tudor

(...) I'm not sure that's necessary or even possible. First it would require me to figure out what angles I already have, I don't know this, nor did I think it was important. Second then I would feel constrained to build more just to achieve this (...) (20 years ago, 4-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Thanks, I'm hoping to make more to fit with these (or modify some of the ones I had already done). I didn't work on any interior details. Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: A slice of tudor

(...) I think it may be helpful to have the final assortment be some multiple of 90 degrees when you add up all their angles, so that they can be used to make a tight block that doesn't have any angle gaps. I may look to making sure some of my (...) (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: A slice of tudor

(...) Yeap, 3 studs in back. I wanted to go thinner, but the bricks didn't seem to want to work well that way. It's cozy inside, not cramped. (...) On my to do list. I'm pondering some smaller, but flatsided buildings to go along with them, but (...) (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: A slice of tudor

(...) How thin IS it? I get something like 3 studs in back? That may be a LITTLE too thin... :-) I like the way this is going though! Next you need to make one that is concave instead of convex! (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  A slice of tudor

Another house, along the same lines as my (URL) corner house> that I announced earlier in the week. This one is quite a bit smaller, if a brick or so taller.
