They do look alike, but I don't see any way to explain the resemblance elseway
than coincidence. I mean, wolf, lion, eagle, bear, these are all "proud"
animals that are often used as symbols for human qualities, much like in these 2
cases. I'd have been more intrigued if the KK2 minifigs had been matching the
colors AND animals of the Visionaries at the same time, but they don't.
Furthermore, the evil dude in Visionaries didn't wear a scorpion and the yellow
Visionaries does not have a minifig counterpart.
However, the resemblance is striking and you did make a good comparison. I
remember that series and I liked it a lot in those days, but it didn't stay long
and I never heard of them until now I think. Thanks for bringing back good
memories :-)
