Re: White Lion Castle - first pictures of the hole castle !

(...) But will the Falcons seek alliance with the other factions, or will they act unilaterally? (Ich habe dein post auf 1000steine gelesen and ich koennte nicht einen WITZ zu machen widerstehen.) Stephen (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: White Lion Castle - first pictures of the whole castle !

(...) I don't think so Jojo! The falcons only have one type of siege weapon. The king's knights should have no problem running down and destroying a catapult or two. :) BTW - Kai your castle looks great. It should withstand a falcon attack, when (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hello! (...) After that battle the keep will be called "White Falcon Castle" of course. Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Pictures of my 375 Castle !

Hello! (...) I'm not sure about that. In fact I highly doubt that. I rather think that people who want to sell a 375/6075 but don't have enough original stickers buy these copies and fake the minifigs for the purpose of being able to sell a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: White Lion Castle - first pictures of the whole castle !

Waiting for Bricks! Man, do I understand that story! :) I see that the Black Falcons are already checking out the walls. It will be an interesting battle. Your historical details are really good, are you patterning this on a real castle? Stephen (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Pictures of my 375 Castle !

(...) Well, I think he is selling a value-added product that is worth the price he is charging. He is also offering something that TLC hasn't produced for twenty years and it sounds like he reverse-designed the patterns rather than merely copied (...) (URL) right or wrong, I got a set of his stickers and they are very well done. A lot better than the ones that come off a inkjet nomatter what the dpi (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Pictures of my 375 Castle !

(...) see the guy making back his costs in materials or something, but I bet at approx. $10 a sheet he's doing more than that. I'd feel differently if he were selling his own designs. If these are TLC's stickers he's knocked off -- that's pretty (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Hello! (...) [LEGOSet 1917] (...) Yes, I've moved it to the Black Knights section. Preliminary I referred to the "king" in its name. The King has always been on the Crusaders' side (although never an official king apperaed in any set) and not on the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: New Pictures of my 375 Castle !

(...) Kai, Nice job restoring this classic LEGO set. Have you seen the reproduction stickers sold on eBay? I don't know the guy, but from the pictures and descriptions, it seems these might be worth a try: (URL) Main thomasmain@myrealbox.com (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Ho, Jojo! ;) (...) you're wellcome ;) btw. on your page www.rittersets.de: As you know, I took your set-list as referenz for my crusader-collection except of (for?) the one catapult with no crusader-shield which you thought could be a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: the Hizzle Tizzle

(...) Hi Jojo, English cottages had heavy hewn timber frames. The spaces between timber posts and beams were filled with wattle (woven twigs) and daub (mud plaster). And the roof was thatch. The French had closely spaced timber posts. (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Hello! (URL) Hm... The house on the left with the brown roof looks... odd. However, the other two houses look far less odd :-) I too like the structure with the statue-coloured 1x1 roundbricks in the fillings... infills... fills... Darn, how's the (...) Lenny, Nice. I like the use of sand green cylinders to give some texture on the right hand one, and the different shape of the left hand one is nice, too. Bruce (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Classic Castle Standard Walls

(...) 1. Front of the wall is exactly like the back.. the only different is where the battlements are. 2. The wall is hollow - no one sees the inside, no need to waste brick in there. 3. I use wall pieces, but like Troy said, feel free to use (...) (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)
