Re: More Poses, Construction Pics too

(...) Wow... Thanks! :) (...) You'd be surprised. The number of technic bricks I used is actually pretty low, since I was doing my best not to have any exposed technic holes or anything. I ended up just using basic 1x and 2x bricks for the majority (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: The lonely tower MOC

(...) Hey Erick, Nice tower! It would look really good on top of a big castle. Yours is the first use of the Hagrid's Hut roof that I have seen. It pretty much will only work on a tower, I think. Good job! Josh (21 years ago, 22-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

  The lonely tower MOC

Here's something I built a month or so ago, I finally got my camera a new battery and I think I'll tear this apart. Anyways, just a simple tower with a magical room inside. Nothing spectacular, just experimenting with an octagonal shape. Enjoy! (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) Well, I must say...leave it to Anthony to generate a wicked draconic project, scales included. (...) Well, that seems to have been accomplished...the only concern now is movement articulation. Can this dragon be set in a variety of poses (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: More Poses, Construction Pics too

(...) Mr Sava, I am humbled and bedazzled all at the same time. I am so glad there is a person like you creating these Dragons. Not only is your desire to learn honest, but I see you having so much fun doing so. This newest creation will surely add (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) This really is quite nice! You should be proud of such an accomplishment - not many mecha builders attempt a model on such a large scale, much less do so as skillfully as you have. Congratulations on completing such a wonderful model! (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: More Poses, Construction Pics too

(...) Seriously...SO PERFECT!!! I'd love to be able to create that... But i don't think i have the parts. (looks like a whole lot of Technic went into that) I wonder if you could create a dragon that beautiful at half the size. Would the (...)   Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) I suppose, though I really don't like to think of myself that way too much. A lot of what I do isn't as LEGO-centric as a lot of the other work on Lugnet. Story writing is a lot different than devoting your time only to building. (...) Thanks (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  More Poses, Construction Pics too

Wondering where all the pics went? They're here, with all new poses and inner working pictures. (URL) PLMKWYT! --Anthony (URL) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Clear Horses? Clear Minifigs?

(...) Clarification please: Unreleased but soon to be released, or unreleased and never will be released? Big difference... Is there any chance that an insider could provide these cool elements to outsiders? I mean, are there enough to go around? Or (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: A Classic Confrontation

Hi Josh, (...) I'm glad you liked it. I enjoyed your battle scene, like I generally enjoy your work. Just felt like reacting rather than commenting. (...) That's a good trait in my book, to wisely shake the head instead of saying something useless. (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: A Classic Confrontation

Hi Tim, (...) Thanks, I was just kiddin', glad you liked it. (...) Sure, just be careful you don't cause any short-circuit. Cheers, Twan. (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: A Classic Confrontation

Hello Sir Crackhead, (...) Yes, over here we have a constitutional right to insanity. (...) Don't mention. Starting next year smoking will be forbidden in coffee shops (= pot pub). (...) Oh, I can imagine. The sunny welcoming climate, the vast (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: A Classic Confrontation

Guten Abend, Danke fuer Dein kommentar. (...) Unaltered? Bribery? By mistake? I dunno, but it did. (...) Would you believe I get mails on a daily basis stating otherwise? ;-) Cheers, Twan. (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

Hi Anthony, (...) That'd be an excellent soundtrack to accompany the MOC your showcasting here. (...) You did indeed. However you may not have noticed you've grown to be a giant of sorts yourself. This creation is a vast improvement from an already (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Tree of Woe

Hi Jason, (...) Again a neat creation from your hands. It is a rather frightening, dark scene you're depicting here. My first thought is to show this to a friend who is a shrink by profession, see what she has to say. But on second thought maybe (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Inn at the OLde Road

Hi Christian, (...) I like to do something similar, using bricks in a off color (often red or yellow) to mark specific spots in a design, removing them while building continues. (...) No need to excuse yourself, the explanation seems clear enough to (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) Nah, not me. I hate having my picture taken. I have taken more pictures of the draogn though, with a minifig in the shot to show scale. That's the best that I can do on that front. He is big, though. Somewhere over 150 studs long. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) Not too much gushing yet. I guess he's just not as impressive as I thought without some proof of him not being just a statue. But it really doesn't matter, I didn't rebuild him for the glory, I did it to prove to myself that I could make (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

Woah. You really need a pic of you next to that monster. I kind of get the scale, but I need to see a human body next to it to really get the scale. I suspect this thing is really, really big. Woah. So how much mobility do you get out of it? Can he (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
