  Re: Tree of Woe

Hi Jason, (...) Again a neat creation from your hands. It is a rather frightening, dark scene you're depicting here. My first thought is to show this to a friend who is a shrink by profession, see what she has to say. But on second thought maybe (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Inn at the OLde Road

Hi Christian, (...) I like to do something similar, using bricks in a off color (often red or yellow) to mark specific spots in a design, removing them while building continues. (...) No need to excuse yourself, the explanation seems clear enough to (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) Nah, not me. I hate having my picture taken. I have taken more pictures of the draogn though, with a minifig in the shot to show scale. That's the best that I can do on that front. He is big, though. Somewhere over 150 studs long. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) Not too much gushing yet. I guess he's just not as impressive as I thought without some proof of him not being just a statue. But it really doesn't matter, I didn't rebuild him for the glory, I did it to prove to myself that I could make (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

Woah. You really need a pic of you next to that monster. I kind of get the scale, but I need to see a human body next to it to really get the scale. I suspect this thing is really, really big. Woah. So how much mobility do you get out of it? Can he (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A Classic Confrontation

(...) *eg* very cool ! :) sorry for the crusaders - at last they were killed by a 3 year old "godzilla" ( from the knights point of view ). My Daughter ( also 3 Years old ) had some "lego-destructiv-moods", too: Every Minifig with helmet or hat on (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Tree of Woe

(...) Thanks! (...) I was really happy with the way that came out. Probably my favorite part of the model. (...) Sorta, partially sinking into the slime and partially like whatever EVIL turned the swamp black was what corrupted the tree, thereby (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Tree of Woe

(...) Hi Jason, I just noticed this, it got a little lost in all the "Unite" posts. This is really cool. I like the skeleton hands coming out of the ooze. The tree even looks like it is sinking down in the slime. Was that intentional? Good Job! Josh (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: A Classic Confrontation

(...) Very Funny! I was laughing so hard, my wife had to come over and see. She just shook her head and walked off. :) This could change that old quote about giving a war and no one showing up. "What if someone gave a war and everyone peed instead?" (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: .spacers, UNITE! (was: Re: Castle UNITE!)

(...) Actually, the USC is in the 22nd century. But my people value destruction of enemies rather than the capture, as it is easier to destroy than to keep in captivity. Less taxes need to be payed that way. Dan (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: .spacers, UNITE! (was: Re: Castle UNITE!)

(...) You're not my mommy! :). And actually, it's not technically called Genocide Fleet, I think it's called Artillery Fleet. And yes, I am over-stimulated...over the end of school for the year! Dan...shall I push the button? (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, FTX)

Thus Spake Zarathrustra! Formeathan - The Stormbringer ===...=== For the past two months, I have been working on a project of great importance to me. I don't expect the castlers to be too excited about it, but I think the Mech heads will like it. So (...)   Re: Clear Horses? Clear Minifigs?
