Re: Call to Arms (at BrickFest 2003)

(...) I'll be there Thursday night as well as every day through Sunday. Unfortunately, I'll have no Medieval marketplace or any sort of castle town like MOCs to contribute, as they don't particularly interest me, and my specialty isn't exactly four (...)   Re: Custom Weapons

(...) Hi Richard, The weapons are made using a combination of epoxy putty and existing lego (plus other materials) parts. What I did was to cut and sand down the plastic parts to the desire shape first, then combine them with added details using (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Call to Arms (at BrickFest 2003)

(...) I plan on attending as well. I wouldn't mind doing the modular castle town again... or even combining it a little with MM. Someone want to start a layout design so we can start claiming spaces? I thought Jeff Stembel did a great job last year (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Weekly castle review (or is it?)

I check out the weekly castle review from time to time, and the latest is a bit puzzling... The latest review, of 6088, includes the statement "it would be apparently obvious that a wide variety of traps and snares would be set up for the oblivious (...)   Re: Onishi Shinji

That's definitely a "must buy" set. It's cheap enough to get multiples of and you get a bunch of minifig food and utensils - carrots, apples, hot dogs, chicken leg, plate, cup, wine bottle, milk bottle, and even a kitty. I even found a use for the (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Custom Weapons

(...) (URL) Hi there, I've got some questions: 1) Are you using epoxy putty? 2) What is the quality of ‘fit/clutch-power’ I know these aren’t on par with ABS… (But how tight do the weapons fit into the minifig hand: are some swords kinda loose like (...)   Re: Onishi Shinji

Hello! (...) Indeed, very nice creations! Detailed and set-worthy (like I'd wish TLC's sets would be). As for the cleanliness: Much depends on the photography.
