  FOTW: #6073 Knight's Castle for $25!

Hey all, Haven't seen one of these posts in awhile, but this one's worth it! The box is in excellent condition and it even has the clear plastic insert tray to show off special pieces. It didn't have the instructions, so I'll be downloading them (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) Wow! Great architectual translation to Lego. Excellent use of fence pieces as screening--and those bug-eyed tigers/lions--dead on! Maybe the diagonal hip beams could be played around with or inset in the roof (as you say to "clean up the (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

(...) claws.... I like that dragon better than Karak, really, mostly because this looks like a bulldog. (but so did the red dragon, really....) Aramir (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) Hey Nick. That shrine is really cool. A very experimental roof that turned out pretty well, I think. The fences as screens is also quite nice. Question: Who's the yellow statue inside? You said Yen paid respects there.. is it an ancestral (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) suggestion would be to cover the top studs with some red and white tiles, like James suggested. The four corners are excellent. But my favorite part by far is the screens on the inside. I was really suprised when I saw them. Great use of an (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) That's a cool little shrine; I especially like the fences-as-screens inside. As to cleaning up the roofline; if you can't get your hands on the right corner slopes, try just putting tile over the studs. thanks, James (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Epic of the Beyhadur: Completion

(...) If I may add my two cents to this as of yet small discussion. I find with myself it's mainly that I come up with the characters first, then story, then MOCs. However, I must say that I find I have the best luck if I come up with just the raw (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Epic of the Beyhadur: Completion

(...) thanks! (...) Yeah, I realized that while making the first part.. but couldn't immeadiately figured out a solution without having to re-write the whole thing. My next project will eliminate the problem. Thanks for the feedback! _lenny (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Epic of the Beyhadur: Completion

(...) Thanks Hendo! It was tons of fun to do, and I'm in the process of writing my next one. (...) story first, and then the MOCs. I wrote a 'script' where I designated how many pictures I'd have, and exactly how they would break up with the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)
