Re: Brainstorming ideas for Game Project....

(...) Well, nice to hear you have your priorities first :) (...) Thanks. Nice to know it's appreciated. (...) My DraKen game actually supports elements, but chosen abilities as of now only affect the casting ability of a spell. Incorporating (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Some support for game project...

(...) Thanks for joining the group! Yes, its similer to D&D, but its more of a conquer/combat game. the point of it is is to gather up as much land, loot etc. then build houses and towns on the land you have gotten. Then, govern it, and defend it (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Some support for game project...

Hi everybody, (...) Cool, count me in. I'll help in any way I can. I wasn't here when IOM was but my Hero's would love to join into the action. But just a little question, isn't it just another version of D&D game? Love LEGO, Love Castle Yaron (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Some support for game project...

(...) The Isle of Mist really had a lot of potential, and I was hoping someone would continue the project, although the last update seems to be around two years old. Innovative concept, but it never took flight, I guess... (...) I'd have to agree (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Some support for game project...

(...) Nice to know you're proceeding ahead with the Uldeseen Project! (I'm still wondering if you read my DraKen page? There's some interesting ideas there, and it could easily integrate with the MM.) Here's a few reasons. Characters can interact (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Some support for game project...

(...) well, during IOM that was the whole point. it was a place where everyone's characters could meet. Some made up new characters, others sent old characters. Quite a few invented new characters that were already based in the old world (like (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Some support for game project...

(...) I volenteer for it. I would also like to be a game leader or master or what ever. It'll be much better than IOM because frankly no one ( well atleast me ) like the IOM that much. I say no one cause the people just let it die. and also I think (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Some support for game project...

Count me in! I'll be glad to help in any way I can. One question though. Can we use are Characters from are castle world? (actually make that 2 questions) and how would we do this would we get together or do it all online like the IOM project (which (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: My modular castle creations

(...) I have to agree with Frank, I think this set has great value in the parts for realistic landscaping. The problem with most MOC Castle creations is that the focus is too heavy on military, castle walls using very simple designs and pre-fab (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Debut MOC: Castle Earthflower

Kevin, I really like this castle. The color scheme is very striking, and there are lots of nice little details all over. I especially like that you have a variety of different rooms for different purposes--kitchen, storage, bedroom, etc. That gives (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: My modular castle creations

(...) At $15 with K-Mart BOGO I think it's reasonably worthwhile. Like you say, it's got good terrain bricks, and two decent minifigs (ok, so you need to loose the Harry Potter head, but otherwise the minifigs are good). The spider has some good (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The One Brick...(LOTR LEGO)

(...) No, you've got to understand, that isn't how TLC does it... :-) :-) :-) The set will come with Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and 1 Orc. There will be one man of Gondor in the big set... :-) However, we have nothing to fear about these sets since (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Some support for game project...

Hello, all. as some of you know, im trying to get a game project or something similer going for .Castle. This is just a place that is not attached to any other worlds, and you do not have to have the characters from your castle world playing it, (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: My modular castle creations

(...) Funny... Aragog is one I wanted because I want more of the green foliage pieces and 16x16 baseplates. Unfortunately, most of the other parts, like that spider, are completely useless to me, so i'ts not worth $20. (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  RE: My modular castle creations

That is a wonderful idea Jon! Some small polybag sets with a fig and a couple of things to add into any village setup! I especially like the picnic idea, it would be a great way to stock up on food for royal parties. I'm not totally sure of the (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The One Brick...(LOTR LEGO)

(...) #13015 II Battle of Helms Deep Approx. $xx.xx Figs 2 Men of Gondor, 4 Orcs Including wall section (+) By purchasing multiples of these sets, one could build as large as they desire without having too many 'character' minifigs. i.e. as in how (...)   The One Brick...(LOTR LEGO)

I dearly wished LEGO would of got a license agreement with LOTR instead of HP. Oh well. Based apon upon the outstanding LOTR Triliogy, I bring you: LOTR LEGO! (note: these sets are based upon the movies, not the books) #13000 Wraith Encounter (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)
