  Re: L3P Options?

(...) That is excellent news! I missed the first post (ref'd above) but that is exactly what I meant. Would it be possible to include a file in the directory with a name like L3Colours.inc or something that declares any modified colours one wishes (...) (19 years ago, 13-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Star Wars mini models 1st wave render

Orion, Nice work! Excellent job of lighting in that photo. Having no shadows really gave it a sense of realism, instead of just making it seem like a bunch of models on display. Amazing what changing the spot lightsources to ambient sources will (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Drill and Hooklift Truck Renders

(...) I saw a copy of the book at a local bookstore the other day, and I had to comment to my friends about it. "Hey, I know the girl who did this!" Geesh, I'm a goober. I did get the book, BTW. -TJ p.s. Nice domain name- I hadn't realized you'd (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.technic)

(...) There's been a lot of excellent virtual lego stuff coming out recently, I think the Lego CAD scene is undergoing a bit of a renaissance just now. Jennifer (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Matrix math tutorial

(...) I forgot to mention: keep in mind LDraw uses row-point-coordinates whereas the (otherwise excellent) tutorial uses column-point-coordinates, that means any transformation matrix given in the tutorial has to be "transposed" before being used in (...)   Re: LPub and Mega-POV Question

(...) I will second Kevin's suggestion of changing to ldview or ldglite. They produce excellent instruction pics and I think they look much better than MegaPOV with edge-lines for instructions. That said, I would strongly recommend backing up all (...) (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Free-Form Camera Positioning with MLCAD, L3P, and POV-RAY

Yes - It would be great to have a camera file. We would need a "lookat" file as well. Thanks again Michael for such an excellent piece of software. I have to say that (besides LEGO), its one of the best toys I've ever had! Brad Michael Lachmann (...) (24 years ago, 16-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Remix Disco: Doomed Disco

Hi Andreas, Firstly, thanks for making a version. If this is the "doomed" version of the picture I'd love to see the long-lived version. It is really excellent and captures the look of a nightclub very well. I particularly like the lighting and the (...) (18 years ago, 5-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Those renders are awesome - at first I thought they were photos! It took me a while to examine the pictures before I could convince my eyes that they were renders. It took sometimes also before I realized the drill was made out of Lego bricks! The (...) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.technic)
