| Hi all, After some e-mails with Albert-Jan van Ree, in which he tried to figure out fog, I did some experimenting. The effect Albert-Jan was after (and actually me too) was making the background foggier than the foreground. I have tried it before (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

| As you can read in "The motive to L3P" it was Lutz Uhlmann's LGEO library (or rather its incompleteness) that inspired me to get started in the LDRAW business. It resulted in my L3 (Lego+Ldraw+Lars) project, which has spun off L3P and L3Lab. The (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray) !!

| | LEGO Train Poster 2003 ready!

| Hi all, It was a close finish but thanks to some people (read below for the Grammy speech) I was able to finish the LEGO Train Poster 2003 just before my vacation. New on this poster are (of course) the new models for 2003; the 4511 High Speed Train (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.trains) !!

| just to reexplain the problem. 3939 renders as 3942 and 3942 renders as 3943. while 3943 renders as LDraw 3943 because there is no 3943. | Excellent suggestion!! I've been wrestling with MegaPOV lately, having frustration with different size submodels and the find_edges settings. I want to keep the line thickness relative to the _parts_ and not to the render resolution, but since the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.inst)
