Jeroen has once again push the envelope of how we (LDraw users) use POV-Ray.
I do believe that he is the first person within our community to make use of the
Insert Menu in POV-Ray 3.5. Using the insert menu makes it much easier to use
his code for us novice users. =)
My concern as the LDraw Help Desk Coordinator was that perhaps more and more
people would begin to populate the insert menu with their own code snippets for
the community. While this would be great it would also become very hard for a
LDraw-POV-Ray (LPP) user to use and maitain. As such after talking to Jeroen he
agreed that it would be best if everyone followed a simple naming standard when
introduction to the community POV-Ray code snippets for LLPs.
So what is the naming standard? I'm glad you asked because I have name a simple
tutorial to explain it and see it in action. You can find the tutorial here:

Here is a quick run down of what the standards are:
1) There will be ONLY 1 LDraw folder under the POV-Ray insert menu
2) Sub-folder will be one a first come first placed basis with 1 EXCEPTION:
Jeroen's code WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST! (After all he pioneered this method)
3) Use the following naming standrad to ensure that order within the subfolders
are maintained.
00 - Jeroen De Haan's Ultra Realistic Rendering
01 - Floors (these are the LDraw Help Desk code snippets)
02 - ....
...
99 - .... (open for use)

| Hi all, I have written an installation and users guide for the new files. Please point your browser to (URL) there are any problems, please let me know.
