Re: automated rendering??? (was "Re: New White Tiger Mecha")

(...) Thanks for wrapping the color defs like this -- but how do I take advantage of them? For example, if I were to use Anton's color definitions, how would I tell the L3P output file to do so? Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) I guess I should note that I'm using POVRay v3.1, L3P v1.2 20000616, and Anton's library v415. I'm mainly having trouble wrapping my head around the texture changes from POVRay 3.0 to 3.1 (needs a major version number change, IMO), and how I (...)   Resizing - MLCAD/Ledit

I have just done my first Pov-Ray rendering using LP3. It has turned out nicely except for the fact that it is very small. Can I increase the size of the model in MLCAD/Ledit? Can I increase the size of the model in POV-RAY? Thanks Carl Watson (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

  MLCAD - l3p - POVray

Hello! OK.. just need a short help/hint. I've set up today the MLCad-l3p-povRay combination and it works fine except for one thing. When I render a minifig with a helmet the helmet looks crappy. That means you see the rendering lines of the helmet (...) (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Screensaver anyone?

Has anyone made a rendering engine that could be set up as a screensaver for Windoze? It would be SO COOL if my FLL team could have their robot rotating around the laptop screen at tournaments... Thanks! -Peter Coach, FLL Team #1096: The Unibots (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  L3P user primitive substitution

Awhile back, I persuaded Lars Hassing to add a feature to L3P. I wanted the ability to substutite POV language commands in the comments of a .DAT file that could be used in place of the DAT primitives when rendering through POV. This would allow (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)
