There are more then one issue with the files and code specified in the tutorial. I found them all, so here is the required fixes to make them work. Step 1.) Assuming you have downloaded the proper files: Begin by opening the POV-Ray master ini file (...) (18 years ago, 3-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

(...) That wouldn't have helped here. The problem is that whatever software was used to do the article used fancy quotes (different opening and closing quotes). Those are just extended ASCII characters, though, which means that they would have (...) (18 years ago, 2-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Yup it was taken with v2.1. That was the same site I went to, however a small oversight by myself forgot to click the link and go to the proper page for download. Now I feel stupid. Oh well... Obviously it's got problems; I have no way of knowing for sure if those problems are present in LDView 3.0, but it does have completely rewritten file (...) Thanks for the tips and help. I opened the file with LDView last night and the road/sidewalk/stopli...posts(they are all part of one file) file couldn't be opened. It gave me an error with the line specifying that file. Since I had exported all the (...) (18 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)
