  Re: LPub and Mega-POV Question

(...) Hi David, From what I remember, MEGA-POV 0.7 is the last one that had the edge line capabilities. It was dropped in the follow on version of MEG_POV and I don't know if subsequent versions ever brought it back. So, if you're set on ray tracing (...) (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: LEGO error with POV-RAY

(...) (snip) (...) Hi Reuven, Sorry if the LPub dialog is not very helpful, but the interface between LPub and POV-Ray is by definition not very communicative. LPub does not perform renders on its own, it uses external renderers to get the job done. (...) (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Re: LEGO error with POV-RAY

(...) (snip) (...) (snip) OK, so I tried your method. The good news: I got it to work. The bad news: not on my model. So first for the good news. I used the pyramid model that comes with LDraw. I was able to make this render, using LPub, LGEO and (...) (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Re: LEGO error with POV-RAY

(...) Hello Reuven. I've had problems with LGEO parts too, so I know how you feel. (...) I suggest an entirely different approach to using LGEO parts.   LEGO error with POV-RAY

Hi Everyone, I'm a first time poster, so forgive me if my question is a bit simple. I haven't been able to use the LGEO parts library. In L3PAO, I check the -lgeo box. In POV-RAY, in the "POV-RAY for Windows Render Settings" dialog box, In the (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  LPub and Mega-POV Question

Hello all, I'm trying to render using POV-Ray 3.6 and Mega-POV 1.21 or 1.1, and I am having some technical difficulties. First, I have the following installed on my computer: LPub version 2.4.8.0 (works fine) Pov-Ray 3.1 (works great) Mega-POV 0.7 (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

Something kind of weird... you can create a similar effect with two identical 3D objects. For example, take two identical pens, hold them so they converge towards you, and cross your eyes. If you adjust the angle of the pens, and the distance, and (...) (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Sorry about that. I still read it the wrong way around... shows how much things are imprinted in our brains. --SNIP-- (...) For anyone interested this is the code. You need to get the include file from (URL) here> // Stereo setup #include (...) (18 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Clear textures

Hi, I alwasy thought that the clear "lugnet" textures were too clear. So I tried to render the following train: (URL) With lugnet colors, it looks like this: (URL) You see the problem: The clear parts look too clear. How can I change that? When I (...)
