Go to Settings -> General and on the Rendering tab tick the "Draw to selected part only" box - I think Michael changed the default setting in the newer releases. Dan (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

i'm sure there's a simple solution to this, but i certainly haven't been able to figure it out.. so i figured i'd try and ask here. ;) anyhow, after a recent reformat and reinstall of my os, mlcad hasn't been working quite right.. i have since tried (...) (...) You can do that in a similar way already now: Select the parts by functionality (e.g. turning mechanism parts) and group them. Hi Micheal, I am wondering if it would be possible to use an unique identifier for each part belonging to a specific funcionality in the model. With this I mean: I would like to model for example the Technic Space Shuttle in MLCad and to see only (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

snip (...) The help documentation is included in the program and thus will be on your had drive, but the path is wrong. I think I solved it by copying the relevant folders ('images' and 'english'(or 'german')) into a new folder called 'help', not (...) (24 years ago, 8-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

This is to Mike, but I want to see how many other people would like this, too. 1. Disallow the nesting of parts within other parts. When I drag a part (say, a 1x6 beam) onto another part, I don't want to be able to have it sink halfway into the part (...) (24 years ago, 8-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I had expected you were doing it by coordinate filtering (but that may explain why you don't support selection in 3D) Personally I find it much more confusing not to (...)
