Hi all, Recently I got an E-mail from someone who cannot create images with MLCad. He gets the error message: Failed to create the file! Whatever the problem is, it is not his PC, OS, version, harddisk space, user rights, etc. Does anyone have an (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi all, I am creating a very large sculpture - a virtual sculpture of course - only using plates, jumper plates and tiles. MLCad needs read/write access to HKEY_CURRENT_USER. For registration MLCad needs access to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT as well, which seems to be a major problem for a normal user under Windows XP. (...) Actually, you should be able to export the settings from your main computer into a registry file. (...) All the settings information is stored in the Windows registry. This mean that you won't be able to copy the info to your cd, especially if you only have acces to one folder. I wouldn't think that you get mail bombed but spammed. E.g. My three accounts received 2300 e-mails during the last 200 days, 1500 have been spam :-( So take care with distributing e-mail addresses in the future. I tend to remove all machine (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
