Actually, you should be able to export the settings from your main computer into
a registry file. Then, put the file on the CD, and simply double click on it
from Explorer to import the settings into the current registry.
Before creating the registry file, make sure to set MLCad up the way you want it
set up. Then, to export the registry settings, run regedit on the source
computer by going to Run in the Start Menu and then typing regedit in the box
and hitting OK. In regedit browse the folders on the left to get to the
following path:
My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Lachmann
Once there, with Lachmann selected, select File->Export, make sure Selected
branch is selected (instead of all), and then enter a filename. (The branch box
should say HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Lachmann.) This will create your registry
file.
Just put that file on your CD, and double click on it prior to running MLCad.
It should ask if you want to import the settings; say yes, and it will do so.
