So I'd say, don't use Preference Sets in the Mac version of LDView 3.2 Beta 1.

Now that you say it, I seem to remember that playing with preferences sets might
have been the last thing I tried to do before the first crash - thought it'd be
an interesting feature to test out.

And indeed now that it works again I've been changing about every parameter I
could find, yet I didn't touch the preferences set pane and I have had no
problem whatsoever.

I can't say how happy I am that this is working again, it really is a great
tool. Thanks again!
