Here is my take on this second version of the license Peter (...) And you've changed the first EndUser license from Creative Commons Share Alike License [1] to Creative Commons Attribute License [2] I presume this was because of the ShareAlike (...) The checkbox doesn't say that the author (not user) forsees the changes they're agreeing to, rather it says that they put their trust in the SteerCo to guide the (...) TrackDraw's parts are 2D models of 3D parts as viewed from the top. TrackDraw attempts to maintain LDraw compatibility by using the same origin and orientation. In my opinion, the problem is that LDraw.Org has no legal authority to change a part license unless it owns the copyright to the part. Here is the relevant verbiage (...) I've been away the past week, hence my lack of contribution until now... What problem does the CA solve? Since all of the parts are individually released under a creative commons attribution license, there is nothing to prevent LDraw.Org (or me for (...)
