I think this is a good thing and would really turn LDraw into a machine that gets more things done. I've been heavily involved with Mac OS X Labs Org ((URL) for the last year. LDraw.org celebrates five years of being online today. The project began in early 1999 and launched to the public on July 7 of that year, almost two years after James Jessiman passed away. I put my reply at the top on purpose... I think we're all agreed on the intent but I'm not sure we have the wording nailed. (...) I don't know why the restriction exists, but I do believe it is enforced for parts in the parts library. At a guess, the restriction comes from the orginial LDraw program itself. I know that my own program (LDView) completely ignores this (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
