  Re: LSynth 2.0 Available

Re: New MAC Modeller for LDRAW FILES

(...) Sure...not a problem. I don't get a chance to do much here anymore, but after BricksWest, and some good LDraw convos, I'm more pumped than ever to get a Mac LDraw utility completed. (...) Not here. (...) No one told me how/where to do so (At (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

New MAC Modeller for LDRAW FILES

I have just placed Mac Lego Modeller (v0.1d1) on my .Mac site. This is a Cocoa version of Ldraw Viewer and will run under MacOS X only (source code is also included plus some discussion on programming with Cocoa and Objective-C). For this release, (...)   Dimensions needed for part 4424

See: (URL) working on reviewing 4424.dat, the washtub/half-barrel. I do not have one of these parts. Using the LDraw file, I got a rough size of 4.5 x 4.5 (actually, it's more like 4.4 x 4.4). Could who has the actual part please check the (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Seam width

(...) In LDView, I do a few things. First, I check to see if the file I just loaded is a part. In order to be a part, it has to satisfy two criteria. First, it can't be the child of a part. Second, it has to either be in the LDraw Parts directory, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Wierd shading in LDView

I was updating part 3847 to use the 1-4con0 primitve and I notice some wierd shading at the tip. I then open the 1-4con0 primitive directly and there were no shading problems I could see.   Ldraw Viewer 0.5

Once again it seem I have too much spare time, since I have elevated Ldraw Viewer to development version 0.5. The big change is that you can now rotate parts using the mouse (rather than by dialog box). I have also eliminated a number of bugs (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

LDraw.org Standards Committee (LSC) Draft Proposal

Making parts 2999 and 2998 work together

I posted a 'hold' review on the wheel from the 8080 Super Car (part 2998). You can read it at: (URL). The part file itself is good. Unfortunately, 2998 only fits with part 2999 (see 2999 at (URL). 2999 was released back in 1998. Right now, the two (...) (22 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
