  Re: Windows 2000

(...) Millennium is just a new win9x with some additional bells and whistles and will not have any "revolutionary" new things. I doubt the difference between win98 and millennium will be more than the difference between win95 and win98. Of course (...)   Planes for a new download-tool (2)

Hy, I did some experiments using InstallShield. I think it's possible to download files from a http server using a additional dll providing the required functions for downloading. But there are some open issues now: 1) I would like some sort of (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I'm not the only one??? Cool, well that sucks but.... I thought it might have been somthing else but now that I think about it the only change I made to the system before rebooting was installing LDAO. I know that it works after you reinstall (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Windows 2000

Hy Mike, I like the idea but I will have to have a deeper look into it ... With NT you will not have any problems using two CPU even if MLCad is single threaded (but it isn't some gui things run parallel) but in this case NT will properly give MLCad (...)   Can I get a working version of LDraw Add-on?

Hi, I was wondering if there were a functioning version of LDraw Add-on I could get.   Re: Windows 2000

Michael, I believe the reason that NT is faster in big machines is that it can address large amounts of memory more quickly. When I was discussing NT with a Photoshop expert, he said that for 128MB+ machines, it is much faster in NT, as Win9x can (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)
