I've been really wanting to see a little feature get implemented somewhere
along the way. When I first saw that Ldlite had a "rotate model after drawing"
feature, I was expecting that it was in preperation for this feature:
The ability to generate a series of individual bitmaps of a given model from
various angles.
Right now, if you select "rotate model" and "save step files" each redraw of
the model overwrites the previous angle. What would be great is if you could
set it to do an incremental save (ie: modela.bmp, modelb.bmp, etc..). The
reason I want this is so that I can take the series into QuickTime VR and
generate an interactive turntable for all of my pallas spaceworks models.
If anybody who is currently crunching on Ldlite would like to take a shot at
this, I would be eternally grateful :) I'd do it myself, but my programming
skills are limited to Visual Basic.
Anyway, Thanks!
