Re: New style of part file 3941 vs. 6143

(...) I was pretty well convinced, but I went and checked all the Ice Planet sets (1993 sets, the year that 6116 would have been introduced, and the year that Flourescent Orange intro'ed). 6116 would have (does) make a very convincing element code (...)   Re: Subtle parts differences (was Re: Lego Blueprints Query ...)

Thanks for the feedback Chris. I'd be interested to see scans of the bricks that you described. If you could either email them to me directly or send me a link, then I'll take a look and update my info as appropriate. I have a load of stuff (slopes (...)   Re: 973p30.dat, "Minifig Torso - Pirate/Bare-Chested/Vest/Tattoo"

Steve, I didn't see this part in the Parts Tracker at LDraw.org, so I sent you another copy of this DAT file and the two subfiles. Please let me know when you receive them. Thanks, Franklin (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: x475.dat, "Minifig Hat Tri-Corner"

Steve, Why isn't this part listed in LDraw.org's Parts Tracker? I know I sent this file to you some time ago. Thanks, Franklin (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: RGB Coding in LDraw?

(...) Well, since I'm not code-savvy, I don't feel comfortable making demands on those who are. I'm hoping to find a way to render the dull-metal stainless steel luster of various wheel hubs and the like, without having to hand edit the POV file (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  [parts tracker] search by AUTHOR

Steve, I've got a request for the parts tracker ("(URL) It would help me if I could search the list by Author, to see the status of all the parts that I've posted, instead of having to wade through the entire list of parts (and hope that I've (...)   Re: Lego Blueprints Query & Weetabix Promo House Instructions

(...) Very impressed with the detail you have gone into on the slope bricks. We could do with more of this kind of information for other parts - see the thread at (URL) regarding the 2x2 round brick, which has at least 5 versions. The 2x2 45deg (...)   RGB Coding in LDraw?

Is there a way to hard-code a color value in a .dat file using RGB values, so that the part will render in POV-Ray using those values? If so, what's the format? In addition, is it possible to code color qualities, like reflectiveness, into a .dat (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)
