  M-Peedy page now up

M-Peedy is now up to .2 beta... it has checking/dialog boxes to prompt before overwriting the .MPD file you are creating, or any .DAT files it is extracting... DL it at: www.flash.net/~onyx/...peedy.html let me know what problems arise, and what you (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Parts

(...) If no one is into that effort already, yes it would be nice :-) The part is somewhat similar to the 3651 Technic Connector, but fits axles on both ends. Thanks! Laurentino Martins [mailto:lau@mail.telepac.pt] [(URL) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) .DAT (...) the (...) proggy (...) This is probably a good thing. If I have a model using unofficial parts, then to share it with the world as an .MPD, I would want the unofficial part to be added as a sub-model. Otherwise I'd have to inline (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Parts

(...) I posted the file as a follow-up to your request, but I did the Followup-to header incorrectly -- I pointed my reply to *just* lugnet.cad.dat, instead of *both* lugnet.cad and lugnet.cad.dat. My apologies. (...) Must be us part authors are (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) From 3649.dat: 0 Author: Adriano Aicardi 1998 (ike@money.it) Don't know if this is still correct. Leonardo (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

does anyone have Adriano Aicardi's e-mail address? (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Parts

(...) what part are you talking about? is it like the technic connector but with an axle hole? i can build that for you if you really want it. it would only be very beta/mockup but it would be usable. let me know if you want me to make it. (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [makelist] mklist v1.1

Wow Lars, version 1.1 really is a leap forward. Steve and Lars already reported that Mklist.exe works on Win95b, Win98 and NT4.0. I'm pleased to report that it also works on MS DOS 6.2. Are there any other platforms Mklist should be tested on ? (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  M-Peedy version .1 beta

Okay... i've got the first test of my .MPD merger/splitter up... nothing fancy.. i'll get the interface, error checking, etc out of the way... right now i just want a testable copy of the parse routines to create/split .MPD files out there... give (...)   Re: MPD format

(...) Option (2) is the better choice. Option (1) will be a META command, specifically I believe "0 INCLUDE foo.dat" will be the syntax. (...) Anything other than a comment will be an error. The presence of comments will be accepted, but no META (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  How much is too much?

A short while ago Onyx produced a MAX2DAT converter which seemed like such a good idea I was inspired to look into converting from other text based formats. I chose VRML files to start with because they seemed very much alike to the DAT format. (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Parts

I've posted this in lugnet.cad and nobody answered me, so I guessed I must have posted it in the wrong newsgroup... In LeoCAD I can't find some parts that are common in the newer TECHNIC sets. Is LeoCAD list complete or is outdated? I find very (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: [makelist] mklist v1.0 ready for testing

BTW, I tried mklist under Windows 95, and it works fine. Has anyone tried it on Windows 98? Having a working makelist to include in a near-future parts update would be greate. Steve (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
