Re: Making new (Star Wars) parts

(...) I migth have a go at this piece, it has number 30360 embossed in it. But I'm not starting right now. And although I'm aware that most of you are desparately in need for this part, I strongly believe that this part needs some of the new (...)   How do you know the numbers?

I'm a bit puzzled. How do you guys know that the Technic Axle #5 has number 32073 (off my memory) and that the Technic Connector with Axlehole has number 32039? As far as I can see, these numbers are not printed on the parts. Do you have a spy (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Discussion-Large Technic Shock 2909c01.dat

(...) Yes, the consensus. That is the tough part. I do think that, whichever way we decide to go, that the cross-section should have a little more roundness to it. The output in POV-Ray is proof of that. OK people, how about this: Manfreds (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Where should I center this one?

(...) Whoops, you're right. But, in the case of the 1x2 plates and bricks, the centerpoint is on level with the top of a plane, and on the rectangular lattice formed by the studs. As for the 2x5 and 2x9 hinge plates, these are a real exception. (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
