I am not a Bricksmith user, so there may be issues I don't know, but 60481 is an official part included in library, so you don't have to download it individually (I suspect you didn't download it's subpart 60481s01.dat, or placed it in the wrong (...) Hi Darrel, (...) Indeed, the face is not really needed here. Your scanner properly creates a file in millimeter units, scaling by 2.5 directly provides LDU. (...) I’m not really satisfied with how the front of the part looks; if you look at the picture on Peeron there’s a lot more definition in the hair (...) (...) I think that making good photos is the best way. You need a camera with good optical zoom, make your photos directly in front of head, and from a distance to minimize field of view. The recommended practice is to be faithful to the real part, eg. if the areas with background color are not printed, then use main color, otherwise use solid background color. Hi Reuben, (...) 4-4rin18 and 4-4rin19 are official files, released in 2010 (2010-01 and 2010-02). Since you missed at least 2 releases, I'd suggest you reinstall the complete LDraw library. (...) Hi all, I'm working on a model that includes the part 55981.dat. This references the sub-part 55981s01.dat.
