  Re: shortcut?...or model/set?

(...) It depends, see Question #2 (...) A file is a shortcut if it consists of on or more indiviual parts that make up a complete part assembly. In other words, if the indiviual parts are normally found connected in a new LEGO box. There are a few (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  shortcut?...or model/set?

In the interest of generating some discussion, let me toss out there to the general CAD community. Regarding the file I created and posted [1] to the Parts Tracker: Question #1: Is it a "shortcut" file, suitable for inclusion into the parts library? (...)   Re: Parts 3480 and 3481

  Re: Wheel 11 x 8 with Center Groove/Tyre 17.5 x 6 with Shallow Staggered Treads?

(...) Thanks for the answer. I will just be needing two for these two parts. I will mail ldraw.org, but I don't have time to do any work on the parts until January. When should I mail ldraw.org: when starting on a part or when almost done? BTW I (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: Wheel 11 x 8 with Center Groove/Tyre 17.5 x 6 with Shallow Staggered Treads?

(...) Either drop mail to parts@ldraw.org, or ask here. The email route is preferred. How many 3-digit numbers (x-numbers) do you want? Chris Dee (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Seems not to be the case. If I make a crack at them where do I get x-numbers for them? (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: Minifig Helmets

Why not call the current helment Minifig Helmet (which is what it is now) and call the classic helment Minifig Helmet Old with Thin/Thick Chinstrap (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Minifig Helmets

I'm sure I know of a database like that somewhere. :) (...) For whatever reason, the visor was only made (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Parts 3480 and 3481

Creating a model with these 2 parts: - 3480.DAT Rotor 2 Blade Helicopter Tail - 3481.DAT Plate 2 x 2 with Helicopter Tail Rotor Holder I discoverd that: - either the inner diameter of 3480 is too small - or the diameter of the Tail Rotor Holder (...)   Re: Minifig Helmets

(...) Personally, I've thought of the "crash helmet" as the helmet that can accept a visor. You could also use the word "modern" as a descriptor.   Minifig Helmets

  Re: Town Radio #3962
