Jimmy Figiel <jimmyfigiel@yahoo.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:HD6nFt.1qF5@lugnet.com... (...) I made the existing Monorail parts, but hadn't enought time and enthusiasm to make the curves, ramps and points. CU Bernd (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

LDAO Double-Click (Was: 9V Train Track Curves ?)

(...) I also wish that double-clicking a file had a function, but not opening the editor. I wish it opened a user-defined program with the file name (but of course its path first). /Tore (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Q? part 4626.dat stud spacing

(...) Yeah, I guess they are. :\ Thanks for pointing it out. I'll fix it and upload it ... well, as soon as we're back online. ;) Steve (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: 9V Train Track Curves ?

(...) Yes Steve it runs again. While you are working on the next version / update, can you make it possible that the Editor gets started when double clicking on a parts file name? Thanks a lot for this utility, it's a great help for creating parts. (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  2867.dat Curved 9V Track

Hi folks, For the interested ones, here are 2 pictures of the 9V Curved track i'm working on. top view: (URL) view: (URL) still working on it.   Monorial curves

I saw that the monorail staight tracks were added to the official parts. Is anyone working on the curves? (I'm dying to make an animation of a monorail going around the track) Thanks! Jimmy (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Q? part 4626.dat stud spacing

Hello all, I am thinking that part 4626.dat may have the stud-to-stud spacing too close together. Nice piece. Thanks. later, James Mathis (21 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: 1381 Vampire Crypt figs (and garlic tile)

(...) I believe those codes are alright. The garlic could be any of these, but I'd go with 3068bpdf - to match up with the vampire. Steve (21 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: 9V Train Track Curves ?

Re: 1381 Vampire Crypt figs (and garlic tile)

I am still working on Sound Guy but haven't gotten very far, would be willing to hand over my partially complete quad2dat file if someone wanted to take a crack at it... I (...)   Re: 1381 Vampire Crypt figs (and garlic tile)

(...) Are these still the codes for the Vampire, Igor, and the Sound Guy? I know that some of the other codes have changed, but I can't tell what they should be now since ldraw.org is still refusing http connections. Also, anyone know the pattern (...)   Re: 9V Train Track Curves ?

(...) Before I had LDDP and LDAO to work properly, I made my own inliner: (URL) very plain, but it works. /Tore (21 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: 9V Train Track Curves ?

(...) You can do this in the latest version of MLCad. You can change the rotation point manually to any custom point such as the axes, the center of another part (like a cylinder). Very useful for symmetric parts, both rotational and mirror (...) (21 years ago, 5-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: 9V Train Track Curves ?

Track System Parts from sets 4588 or 4586 yet?

I was wondering if the Track System Pieces from set 4588 or 4586 are available for LDraw yet. If not I might be interested in creating the dat files for these parts.   Re: PT File Checker Down

(...) I think this was a result of the server running out of drive space. I didn't do a very good job of writing a robust PT, at least when it comes to checking for file space. Steve (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

To Jacob, Tony and Steve (was Duplo egg)

  PT File Checker Down

To whom it may concern: The File Check tool on Parts Tracker seems to be broken. When I hit the submit button, the tool resets itself (clears the file textbox and resets the part type to Parts).   Re: Darth Vader Helmet on Parts tracker

(...) I'm not in any rush to do so. I'm still gaining experience from doing more symmetrical parts. I can see that the Stormtrooper's helmet could take as long or longer than Vader's helmet. The Rebel helmet could be done in a much shorter time: (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Help needed with cond. lines  [DAT]

Re: Darth Vader Helmet on Parts tracker

(...) Yes, please elaborate on you technique. I'm interest in how all part authors model complex parts. This is something I've been meaning to ask for a while now but just haven't remembered. -Orion (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Darth Vader Helmet on Parts tracker

Incredible. I've been interested in doing the Stormtrooper helmet (since I don't have quite the budget to be forking out $3+ for Stormtroopers) so I can model large scenes involving them. But I'm blanking on how to tackle such a small detailed part. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
