  Interesting Minutia in 7146 Instructions

Well, interesting to me... While building the TIE Fighter set, I noticed an obvious CAD-ism in the instructions. Looking at the inset in step 10 (on page 3), the outer edges of the 4x4 radar dish are obviously composed of lines, not a smooth curve. (...) (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I don't know where you heard about the 2D library but it's wrong, they use a 3D CAD program. Leonardo (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad)

I bet they use one of them multimillion dollar programs. The backgrounds on the old technic sets look a lot like they were autocad drawings. But it would make sense for them to just use the same data they have from the molds for the plastic as (...) (24 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad)
