I don't know where you heard about the 2D library but it's wrong, they
use a 3D CAD program.

| Well, interesting to me... While building the TIE Fighter set, I noticed an obvious CAD-ism in the instructions. Looking at the inset in step 10 (on page 3), the outer edges of the 4x4 radar dish are obviously composed of lines, not a smooth curve. (...) (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad)
