If I may say it, my BlockCAD drawing program is perfect for buildings. As long
as all you want to do is place any number of pieces studs up, no fancy
rotations, you can do it with BC.
It's a free Windows program, 'drag and drop' mouse interface and there are
also keyboard shortcuts.
You can rotate in real time (almost), and peel off layers while doing insides
(or corrections), and then just put them on again.
OK, the piece repository is not as big as Ldraw, but for buildings, I think
there are enough different pieces.
Oh, I almost forgot, there's no 1000 piece limit (Datsville College is 1851
pieces, and My Home is 1943), and you can save in Ldraw format of course (And
you can set it up to do model --> .dat --> L3P --> POV rendering with one
mouseclick).

| As I was polishing up some of my houses for Datsville, putting backs on them, adding furniture, finishing roofs, outside details, etc, I wound up with a few questions: 1. I know of the 1000 piece limit. Are subfiles counted as one piece, or do the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
