Given that we are transitioning over (eg. the website now points to the new
forums) rather than duplicating I’d say that the dedicted forum is the right
place and a comment at LUGNET should be considered secondary.

My question (which was snipped) wasn’t about LUGNET vs. the new LDraw forum.

Are you suggesting that we stop making announcements on the LDraw.org home page?
That seems wrong to me. Otherwise (while LUGNET is still alive), all we have
done is created a third place that I need to announce updates.

But if you're going to announce it in a forum as well I'd say the LDraw forum would be the best place. We've already got (...) (13 years ago, 27-Jul-11, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
