I just installed MLCAD 1.6 last night for the 1st time. I didn't like the old DOS based LDRAW/CAD stuff since my Win98 doesn't really like DOS. When I copied the file and opened it w/MLCAD there were several dat files missing from my MLCAD. I assume (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) the hex values are for mlcad 1.6 custom color. ldlite as far as I know doesnt support it, and ldraw crashes when hex is encountered. some alternatives for colors are : 42 = lime green transparent / neon green 44 = orange transparent (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

i did about 10 or so parts within the last 2 hours. can everyone go see (URL) tell me if you think patterned parts are good? (rather have more PARTS than duplicate patterned??) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I believe you mean lugnet.cad.models.sets (...) One problem I foresee is that you are required to register in order to post. One way this could be solved would be to register ldraw.org as a valid poster, and then post the messages from an (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  MLCAD & terrain
 
Ive used MLCAD to create a .BMP -> .DAT terrain file. It works okay in MLCAD, but when I try to load it into LDraw, I receive an error reading 216@0001:889D error. Why is that? Thanks, Mike (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
