Re: Comments on some unofficial Train parts

(...) SNIP I think you are talking about these battery boxes: your type 1 (URL) type 3 (note the opening for the contacts in the case) (URL) type 2 (URL) think this is complete. See also here: (URL) (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Comments on some unofficial Train parts

Hello everyone, glad to see the traffic on Parts Tracker! As a railway fan I am double-glad to see some Train-specific parts developing. However, I have noticed some issues with part naming so I think it's better to solve them while the parts are (...) (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: SR 3D Builder user manual

(...) The keyboard is usually much faster than the mouse, and I have all the commands memorized already (as do most people who use MLCAD, because it uses the same commands). -Mike (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: bendable track

(...) Hi Willy, Thanks for the explanation. I've never touched the STRING_BAND synthesis, so we'll have to let Don speak to this. Kevin (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: bendable track  [DAT]

(...) Upps! Looks like there is a gap in communication. Don started writing code which would allow using "bendable" and "band" constraints together. A first result can be seen in STRING_HOSE + STRING_BAND at: (URL) SYNTH BEGIN STRING_BAND 19 0 SYNTH (...) (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: bendable track

(...) Hi Willy, "Spouse" bendables with treads? I'm not even married! LOL! I do not recognize the topic you are asking about. Kevin (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: SR 3D Builder user manual

(...) Hi, I don't ever try lEdit so I think it doesn't. Anyway you should not need keyboard to position parts, and my program is totally different! Sergio (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: SR 3D Builder user manual

(...) I will have to try it soon. Question: does the program support LEdit's keyboard commands? -Mike (16 years ago, 15-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Purpose of physical colour parts

(...) Mike, if you're really looking for part to take of there are loads waiting for you: (URL) (16 years ago, 14-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: bendable track

(...) Hi Kevin, correct. It's easier to work this out in our mothertongue. If there are problems we get back to you. Just wondering: Is there progress in "spouse" bendables with treads? w. (16 years ago, 14-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: bendable track

(...) Hi Willy, Could you please translate this for me? I suspect that you are saying, yes, we can resolve this by personal email? Thanks, Kevin (16 years ago, 14-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: bendable track

(...) Ciao Christian, se mi mandi una mail personale e spieghi piú in dettaglio cosa ti serve forse ti posso aiutare. w. (16 years ago, 14-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  SR 3D Builder user manual

Hi everybody I finally published a preliminar (and not fully revised) version of the SR 3D Builder User Manual You can download from application website homepage in .PDF format (URL) this will help. Sergio (16 years ago, 14-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Convert to Wavefront object?

(...) Yep. I created a minifig and imported the 3DS file into MeshLab. The improper BFC is very apparent. (You can see how part authors simply created one half of a part and then mirrored the primitives to create the other half.) -Mike (16 years ago, 14-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Purpose of physical colour parts

(...) Sorry Matt but this is cheap. Everyone who has the skills to author a part has all that's needed to review one. Instead of blaiming the reviewers go and ask for review rights - it might takes hours to review a part but it takes less than (...) (16 years ago, 13-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)
