  Re: LPub4 Alpha3 available

(...) I download and installed, and when I run it, I get the error message "The dynamic link library MSVCR90.dll could not be found in the specified path C:\Program Files\Lpub4alpha1;.;...stem32..." C:\Lpub4alpha1 is the path I chose to install to. (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub4 Alpha3 available

OK, I tried it on a clean machine, and it does indeed work. I did find a few more problems, though: If you hit cancel during LDraw directory selection, it just comes back again (repeatedly). (This machine didn't have LDraw, so I tried to cancel; I (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LPub4 Alpha3 available

Well, I haven't tried it on a clean machine yet (one without VC++ 2008), but I have tried it on my main machine, and it seems pretty good overall. I did find a few minor problems. Every time you browse for LDView.exe, it automatically checks the (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  LPub4 Alpha3 available

Hi All, With help from friends, I've got a properly built version of LPub4 that installs simply and properly. No extra libraries. Those who used LPub4 Alpha1 found some minor bugs, but in general LPub4 Alpha is in pretty good shape. With LPub4 you (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 50 x 50 baseplate with the 'Road 3-way Curve with Gray Pattern'

(...) These guys are too modest to plug a lot of their own work, but I learned the basics of making parts (and of Ldraw too) from Virtual Lego by Tim Courtney, Steve Bliss and Ahui Hearera. I still refer to it all the time and highly recommend it. I (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd **Updated Ldraw.xml

Just uploaded the latest ldraw.xml to my sites. V1.3 LDD 2.3.19 Brick ver 38.19 This time I included parts that still need work. The thinking with this is that you can export then import the parts to the original location. They will just be in wacky (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Rotating steps

(...) Bricksmith's "Export Steps" command does not create printable instructions - it saves a separate LDraw file for each step of each submodel. There's no inherent view to these or any other LDraw models (at least as far as Bricksmith is (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) You seem to be right. I tried LPub4 on a XP machine with VC++2008, and on a W2k one without it, it works in both cases. Philo (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)
