Just uploaded the latest ldraw.xml to my sites. V1.3 LDD 2.3.19 Brick ver 38.19 This time I included parts that still need work. The thinking with this is that you can export then import the parts to the original location. They will just be in wacky (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Rotating steps

(...) Bricksmith's "Export Steps" command does not create printable instructions - it saves a separate LDraw file for each step of each submodel. There's no inherent view to these or any other LDraw models (at least as far as Bricksmith is (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: I had to get something out before Brickworld

(...) You seem to be right. I tried LPub4 on a XP machine with VC++2008, and on a W2k one without it, it works in both cases. Philo (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: old turntable

  Rotating steps

How do I have one step with a view of the underside (of a car) and the next step with a view of the top of the car. I understand that any view can be chosen for any step, but I am referring to the exported steps (meaning the printed instructions). I (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: I had to get something out before Brickworld

(...) Please let us know which LDView versions works best once the Mac LPub alpha is available. I haven't had much luck at all with any of the pre-release versions of either program I've tried recently. Jim (16 years ago, 11-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: I had to get something out before Brickworld

Never mind. I'm pretty sure that the answer is that you do have the VC++ 2008 runtime libraries installed, because when I install them, LPub works. Anyone else that can't get LPub to launch can download the runtime libraries from Microsft here: (...) (16 years ago, 11-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)
