(...) Actually I find it quite logically it's not supported. And I don't think it's a specific OpenGL thing. Once the vertices's are not concave, you basically stop having a Quad all to getter. It becomes a polygon, and how is the hardware supposed (...) (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw File Format Spec 1.0 DRAFT - Call for Public Comments

(...) Hi there. I'm just getting up to speed with OpenGL so it will be a little while before I can really sink my teeth into this. But, one thing I have learned so far is that the rule about non-concave quads is actually a limitation of OpenGL. It (...) (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

LDraw File Format Spec 1.0 DRAFT - Call for Public Comments

Like all previous LSCs, the 2006/7 LSC was charged with ratifying the LDraw File Format 1.0 specification. After much work checking, and ratifying as necessary, all linked specs and language extensions, and many months of dicussions about the actual (...) (17 years ago, 20-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad) !

Looking for 9V switch as a .DAT file

Hi, does anyone has a 9V switch as a .DAT file, unfortunately can't find any on the LDRAW site, nor in official, nor in unofficial parts. Does anyone has it and may tell me the link or send it as file? Why do I am looking for that? I want to include (...) (17 years ago, 20-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Looking for 7740 as a .DAT file

Hi, maybe I am too stupid to use the search engine :-) but I can't find no 7740 as a .DAT file and I do know that (years ago) I did find them here (but lost them due to changing computers). Does anyone has it and may tell me the link or send it as (...) (17 years ago, 20-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: "Building with Bricksmith" screencast video

(...) It looks good, though, doesn't it? But you're right, if LDView 3.2 is a beta, this is, what, pre-alpha? I can change the caption. Hope you don't mind the "pre-release publicity." Jim (17 years ago, 19-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: "Building with Bricksmith" screencast video

I hardly think something that's not even close to feature complete (LDView Cocoa) qualifies as "Beta" ;-). --Travis (17 years ago, 19-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  "Building with Bricksmith" screencast video

Working with large models in LDD.

Hello all, I am currently working on a mosaic using nothing but 1x1 bricks. My problem is that the its over 13000 bricks. This seems to really cause problems with the speed of LDD.   Re: Selling prints of LDraw renders

(...) Ok, thanks guys. As I've looked into logistics in other areas (would people even be interested in buying prints/cards/etc. of LDraw scenes?
