Peeron or BrickLink Name? 3003p???.dat - Brick 2 x 2 with Red Dot Pattern  [DAT]

I am strongly against the idea of a trird name for parts like this. What do you think, should I pick the Peeron name or the name used in Bricklink? 0 Brick 2 x 2 with Red Dot Pattern 0 Name: 3003p???.dat 0 Author: Tore Eriksson 0 Unofficial Part 0 (...)   Re: LeoCad version 0.75

(...) The rotation circles make it easier to rotate the direction you want to rotate, and I think it's more intuitive too. That's how professional software like Max and Maya work (I followed the Max way of rotating and added some extra functionality (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Re: LeoCad version 0.75

(...) Yeah, the new rotation system....I need some time getting used to that. For example: when you select the rotation button a circle appears to define the rotation point. BUT the rotation button only works when the mouse pointer is actually (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  LeoCad version 0.75

On April the first a new LeoCad version has been released: 0.75 In this version the mysterious disappearance of some pieces as discussed below has been solved! It even seems that even an old bug/quirk which plagued my installation is gone too: when (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Augmented Reality

Hello world... A while ago I discoverd Augmented Reality(AR). This lets you combine images from your webcam with virtual objects. When I was looking for an idea for what to do with AR, I just came over to LEGO®.(No textures needed :),prebuilt bricks (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Bricksmith 1.3: Here's Looking at You, Kid

(...) For what it's worth, I don't think most people are aware that OpenGL can be used to render images at arbitrary resolutions. Most video cards don't support rendering directly above 2048x2048. (Presumably the new cards that support 2560x1600 (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Bricksmith 1.3: Here's Looking at You, Kid

(...) Okay, that puts me in my place. I hereby recant any prior suggestions about crummy resolution! Now that we have established that OpenGL can produce print-quality images, my question is: Can OpenGL produce instruction-quality graphics? Even (...)   Re: crc error

(...) Thanks Kevin (other respondents thanks as well), but that won't be nessecary. Here's what I did to work around the crc-error. 0) As preperation, load as many as possible of the substructures in LPub and generate BOM's, simply to build up the (...) (19 years ago, 1-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Bricksmith 1.3: Here's Looking at You, Kid

(...) The resolution argument actually doesn't hold up. When I added printing support to LDView in Windows, I made it generate an image using tiling that was at the printer's resolution (or maybe I maxed out at 300DPI; that was four years ago, so I (...)   Re: Bricksmith 1.3: Here's Looking at You, Kid

(...) I don't think it has to be. My friend made me a parts list from MLCAD and it was arranged alphabetically by part description. I think it would make the most logical sense to sort a parts list by part number. Russell (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Bricksmith 1.3: Here's Looking at You, Kid

My ultimate goal is always to print them. Of course, (...) (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)
