Problems with Buffer Exchange and LPub

Hello, I've got a problem: When I want to render my model via LPub, "explosion" views made with buffer exchange are not shown completely. Here an example: (2 URLs) What can I do to make LPub/MEGAPOV export/render the technic bricks completely? With (...) (20 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Based on a delivery note from Lego for some replacement parts I believe the correct part number for the pantograph arm is 2923 292326 - Black pantograph arm 287126 - Black motor side plate 241226 - Black grille tile now Black is Lego colour 26 (...)   Re: troubles with automatic Raytracing using L3PAO and POV-Ray 3.1g

(...) But as far as I remember, there is no need for setting path to POV-ray in L3PAO. At least I haven't seen any dialogs asking or it. Did I missed something? rob (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)

(...) I believe LDLite was originally written with the Pocket PC in mind as a possiblity, so it shouldn't be difficult to build a version for that target. I can't do it because I don't have a Pocket PC to test it on, or the development environment (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: troubles with automatic Raytracing using L3PAO and POV-Ray 3.1g

(...) I have the same problem on my Win98SE machines. I think I recall that it's a common problem. (...) I guess that L3PAO is made for an older POV-Ray version (3.0?) and can't locate exactly the file it recognizes POV-Ray with, because it's (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

troubles with automatic Raytracing using L3PAO and POV-Ray 3.1g

Hallo I installed POV-ray 3.1g and then L3PAO on win XP machine every time I start L3PAO there is a message saying POV-ray couldn't be verified as installed on my computer. Have anybody exeperienced this? Does anybody know what's wrong and how to (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Roadsign Triangle with Men Working, 1 Dirt Pile Pattern

(...) Strange, because I copied this from the other patterned parts 649p01, 649p02 and 81294. This problem occurs here too. I do not think, however that this is very disturbing? Ortherwise it should be corrected. I will try and take a look at this (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Roadsign Triangle with Men Working, 1 Dirt Pile Pattern

(...) Jaco! The top corner of the red frame is somehow misaligned comparing to the rounded top corner of the s\649s01.dat. With high zoom factor it can be easily noticed. Otherwise the granularity of the pattern is sufficient. Bye Ampi (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Roadsign Triangle with Men Working, 1 Dirt Pile Pattern  [DAT]

It has been a while, but I have created a new part. Almost done, but I would like an opinion on whether the detail of the pattern would be sufficient. I have posted an image on Brickshelf: (URL) DAT file is attached to this message. Jaco 0 Roadsign (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)

What I really ment was to be able to run a program like LDLite on PPC so you can view LDR and MPD files. There would be no need to be able to produce images, just view (IMHO)... (...) No need to do that then. Jaco (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: problem: only one part visible

(...) I'm not sure what you mean exactly by 'hide' here, but I suspect you've got 'draw to selection' turned on. It's under the Settings menu. When turned on only parts up to and including the selected part/s are displayed. (...) Select the part/s (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)

(...) Sort of yes and no. Pocket PCs usually run 320x240 (or 640x480 on the high end ones) in 16 colors/pixel, not the fixed color palettes of the old CGA/EGA days. I've ported my work version of SVG to a Pocket PC and there's no particular problem, (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)

(...) I seem to remember James Jessiman used to run LDraw/LEdit on his old laptop. Or at least, he intended them to runnable on such a system. Wouldn't a CGA/EGA laptop be morally equivalent to a Pocket PC? Of course, what's the chance that (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)

Hi all, Any chance to bring this topic back to attention? Would it be possible to make an LDraw VIEWER for Pocket PC (Windows Mobile, CE or other portable systems). You could indeed put the parts on a memory card and view any LDraw model (as long as (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: My second part: Fabuland Window part, 3 windows on top

Re: LDraw on G4TechTV Screen Savers

(...) Say hi to Leo Leport. Screen savers is a pretty cool show. I've watched when I could since the old ZDTV / TechTV days. Recently I've noticed a lot of changes with hosts. The format always seems inviting to guests. Should be great fun. (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)
