  Minifig hair and hats

Is anyone working on more basic minifig stuff? Seems like every other week there are new patterns available, but not some of the basics like hair and some hats. Right now I'm looking for 3898.dat, the cook's hat, and I'd like the minifig hair with (...) (20 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Multi MPD scenes

(...) When you say "render" are you refering to in POV-Ray or seeing your models in MLCad? That I know of there is no utility to merge different .mpd files together. What I suggest is the following. 1) Move any and all .ldr,.dat,.mpf files that you (...) (20 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: 1x16beam's images

I have seen many of your fantastic creations on Brickshelf. They look very complex and must have taken a long time to build. I'm glad that you want to try out radiosity - I'm sure we can get it working. You need to download these files here: (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Multi MPD scenes

I've looked through the LDraw download list and I can't find anything that seems to do this. Does anyone know of a utility to render multiple mpd files all together in a single "scene"? I know I can export all the parts then import them all into a (...) (20 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

  South Baltimore Rowhouses

Here's my first entry to the (URL) LEGO Factory> contest: (2 URLs) LUGNET page> It's three South Baltimore rowhouses, complete with marble stoops and Formstone (sorry, no women in housecoats) This is my first 'virtual' model, and only my second (...)   Keeping track of temporary part numbers

Is there any place where we can see temporary part numbers attributed to a part before official release? For example, Technic Liftarm 1 x 4 x 0.5 was called x200, then x137, and now 32449. It would be interesting to keep that information somewhere (...) (20 years ago, 12-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

(...) I have tried both. Latest drivers and deleting the specified folder. It seems to hang everyother time. On the alternating runs whne it does not hang on the startup screen it will not show the parts. I have an ATI radeon 7500 AIW. (20 years ago, 12-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

(...) OK, obviously I couldn't figure out how to get that info out of Idelfonso's list! THANKS (to both of you) for posting this! If there are any other non-LDD/LDraw users out there who want DXF conversions of these files I could share these as (...) (20 years ago, 12-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

(...) Went to IBM and downloaded the latest driver for my laptop's video card (Mobility Radeon 7500). Unfortunately, things seem to have only gotten worse. :( The first couple of times after updating the driver the app *seemed* to work a bit better. (...)   New models and renders

I have finally completed a few more models and renders. These include a few offical sets and some MOCs.   Updated registry file for Track Designer

I have an updated registry file for the Track Designer program made by Matt Bates. The registry that comes with the program has many pieces, but there are a few that I and the members of my LUG use in our layouts that aren't in the registry. The new (...)   Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

(...) Hi Jaco, This is great! Now you just need to know which colors you are allowed to use. With the help of Clark Stephens I updated that spreadsheet to include the LDRAW color numbers and names: (URL) I'm currently working in something more (...)   Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

Hi all, Thanks to Ildefonso I have made a Favorites group for MLCad of the parts allowed to use in the LEGOfactory competion.   LEGOfactory and LDraw

Hi all, Has anyone considered making the new "baseplates" in LDraw and creating a "Favorites" group for MLCad of the parts you are allowed to use in the competition? If not, I will attempt to do so. I think it would be fun to do the same in LDraw? (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Missing dat files??

  Missing dat files??

Hello Everyone, I had to reload Lview and MLCad to a new computer. I updated with lcad0404.exe, ran MKLIST, and scanned for parts from inside MLCad. When I go through the bricks category, I get error messages stating that I'm missing the following (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LEGOfactory.com to LDraw color conversions

After I had filled in my spreadsheet with the LDRAW color numbers, I noticed that the only colors that are used by the factory palette and don't have a LDRAW color number are the "Medium Blue" and (...)
